Rhona Macdonald

Prior to moving to the role of Managing Director Rhona held the role of Head of Marketing. She developed and implemented marketing strategies for the company’s contract research and testing services. She was also the business lead for collaborative and commercial research projects for vaccines and diagnostic tests developed at the Moredun Research Institute.

Rhona has more than 20 years of commercial experience in the life sciences and animal health industries. Prior to joining Moredun, she worked for GE Healthcare where her roles included leading teams in strategic marketing, European sales and marketing communications. She holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Edinburgh and a postgraduate diploma in Marketing.
