Erwin Blomsma

Erwin Blomsma is the current CEO at Virovet and has an extensive background in the veterinary industry. Erwin was previously the CEO and co-founder of Okapi Sciences NV, which was acquired by Aratana Therapeutics in 2014. Erwin also served as a Strategic Advisor / Consultant for Aratana Therapeutics Inc. from January 2014 to December 2016. Prior to that, they were the COO and VP of BD at Avantium Technologies from July 2000 to December 2008.

Erwin Blomsma had a post doc in applied biological sciences from KU Leuven, a PhD in applied biological sciences from KU Leuven, and a M. Eng. in Bio-engineer from KU Leuven.
