After spending several years working as a veterinarian in France, followed by a brief move into scientific communication, I moved into the field of veterinary regulatory affairs. Over the years, I’ve held various positions within the Belgian authorities and several veterinary pharmaceutical companies, consistently focusing on the registration of veterinary medicines. This experience has given me a solid understanding of the full lifecycle of developing and registering veterinary pharmaceutical and biological/immunological products.

More than a year ago, I joined AnimalhealthEurope as Technical Director. In this role, I work to align and communicate industry perspectives with key European institutions and the European Medicines Agency and represent the EU regulatory position on the global stage. With as ultimate goal a smooth functioning (European) veterinary medicines regulatory system and an environment that stimulates innovation and availability.
