Erwin Blomsma is CEO and co-founder of Benno Therapeutics and has an extensive background in the veterinary industry. He was previously CEO and co-founder of Okapi Sciences NV, which was acquired by Aratana Therapeutics in 2014. In 2015, Erwin co-founded ViroVet (focused on livestock vaccines and antivirals), and in 2024 he co-founded Benno Therapeutics (canine oncology) as well as NanoTherix (nanobody drug conjugates).

Erwin Blomsma holds a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences from KU Leuven and an MEng in Bioengineering from KU Leuven.
