Inne Xhonneux graduated in 2011 as a veterinarian. She worked for 10 years as a veterinarian with special focus on small camelids and was involved in immunization campaigns focusing on the production of camelid-derived antibodies at the Camelid Immunization Facility (University of Antwerp). In December 2024 she received her doctoral degree in veterinary physiology at the Gamete Research Centre at the University of Antwerp, and at the end of the same year, she found new opportunities at Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO).
VLAIO is the main point of contact for entrepreneurs in Flanders on behalf of the Flemish Government. VLAIO stimulates and supports innovation and entrepreneurship, contributing to a positive business climate that fosters sustainable economic growth and job creation. Inne Xhonneux is currently project advisor in Life Sciences, where she is involved in the evaluation and follow-up of early- and late-stage scientific projects covering topics from veterinary science, over animal production to innovative biotech projects.
